Princeville - Katherine A. Baer, 94, a resident of the Apostolic Christian Skylines, Peoria , since November 10, 1995 , a former long-time resident of Princeville, died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2001 , at Apostolic Christian Skylines.

Born June 30, 1907 , in Edelstein , Illinois , the daughter of Henry and Katherine Streitmatter Wieland, she married Alfred H. Baer on June 11, 1939 , in Princeville. He died April 13, 2000 , in Peoria . 4 brothers and 1 sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving is 1 son , Donald (and Carol) Baer of Princeville , IL ; 1 daughter , Diane (and Bill) Streitmatter of Princeville , IL ; 10 grandchildren ; and 8 great-grandchildren .

She and her husband owned and operated Baer Lumber Company in Dunlap and Akron for over 30 years.

She attended the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville, where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2001 . Ministers of the Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 til 8 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2001 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, and also one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery , Princeville.
