Obituary of Hazel Eyloe Copley Peoria - Hazel Eyloe Copley, 98, of Peoria , died at 9:05 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002 , at ManorCare Health Services, where she had been a patient since March 20, 1996. Born February 12, 1904 , in Burlington , Iowa , the daughter of Edmund and Gertie McKinney Starkey, she married Joe Copley on February 18, 1924 , in Burlington . He died September 28, 1993 , in Peoria . Three brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving is 1 daughter, Nancy (and Martin) Siebrasse of Peoria; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a former member of the Kings Daughters Circle, Peoria , and Glen Oak Christian Church, where she was a member of the Semper Fidelis Class, and was honored as a Deaconess Emeritus. Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 18, 2002 , at Glen Oak Christian Church (1115 East Republic Avenue). Rev. Dr. Paul B. Isom will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
