Obituary of Florence I. D'Hondt Peoria - Florence I. D'Hondt, 93, of Peoria , formerly of Rock Island , died at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2002 , at Fondulac Woods Health Care Center, East Peoria , where she had been a resident since February 21, 2001 . Born April 21, 1909 , in Rio , Illinois , the daughter of Amzi and Linnie Adams, she married Albert A. D'Hondt August 22, 1929 , in Philadelphia . He died October 24, 1993 , in Rock Island , Illinois . Surviving is 1 son , Dallas (and Caryl) D'Hondt of Peoria, IL; and 1 grandson , Christopher (and Christine) D'Hondt of Chicago, IL. Her parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Joseph 's Catholic Church, Rock Island . Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002 , at Calvary Cemetery , Rock Island . Rev. Larry Morlan will officiate. There will be no visitation.
