Obituary of Eugene M. Daum Princeville - Eugene M. Daum, 90, of Princeville, died at 8:24 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002 , at Methodist Medical Center , Peoria . Born September 24, 1911 , in Brimfield , Illinois , the son of Peter and Elizabeth Hess Daum, he married Margaret D. Tucker May 30, 1936 , in Elmwood. She died May 30, 1973 , in Princeville. Surviving are 1 daughter , Dolores (and Mario) Galindo of Princeville, IL; 9 grandchildren ; 22 great-grandchildren ; 1 brother , Robert Daum of Brimfield, IL; and 1 sister , Dorothy Savage of Texas. His parents, three sons, Raymond, William, and Kenneth, and one sister, Aldah Leeson preceded him in death. He worked at Long Rock Company in Princeville for 27 years as a blaster, retiring in 1972. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2002 , at Brimfield Cemetery , Brimfield. Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate. There will be no visitation.
