Corrected Obituary of Kenneth L. Dexter Duncan - Kenneth L. Dexter, 47, of Duncan , died at 8:16 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002 , at the home of his mother's in rural Princeville. He was born November 25, 1954 , in Pittsfield , IL , the son of Richard B. and Virginia Martin Dexter. Surviving is his mother of rural Princeville, 1 daughter , Samantha Carter of Duncan , 1 brother , Brian (and Susan) Dexter of East Peoria, IL, 1 sister , Kathy (and Brian) Fulk of Bemidji, MN, and 4 nephews and 2 nieces . His father preceded him in death. A graduate of Princeville High School , he served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He was a truck driver for Rick Miller Blacktopping, last working Friday, June 28 th . He was a member of Teamsters Local 627, Peoria , and a member of Prospect United Methodist Church , Dunlap. Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Mary Kathryn Pearce will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. Cremation will follow, with burial of ashes at Dickison Cemetery , Dunlap, at a later date.
