Obituary of Clifford E. "Tip" Duggins

Princeville - Clifford E. "Tip" Duggins, 81, of rural Princeville, died at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002 , at Toulon Health Care Center, Toulon .

Born August 16, 1920 , in Peoria , Illinois , the son of Joseph and Fronie Smith Duggins, he married Polly A. Donath January 24, 1951 , in Peoria . She survives.

Also surviving are 1 son , Robert P. (and Carole) Donath of Princeville, IL ; 1 daughter , Diana Sue Donath of Princeville, IL; 3 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren ; and 1 sister , Joanna Elwell of Princeville, IL. His parents and one brother, Donald Duggins preceded him in death.

He was a farmer and trucker in the Jubilee Township area all his life. He was a member of the Princeville Equestrian Club and he traded horses throughout his life.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002 , at Prospect Cemetery , Dunlap. Reverend Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 til 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.
