Obituary of Dr. Dave D. Gingrich Elmhurst - Dr. Dave D. Gingrich, 57, of Elmhurst , Illinois , died Monday, July 15, 2002 , at his residence. Born January 23, 1945 , in Chicago , Illinois , the son of Frank and Audra Swift Gingrich, he married Carol Vitkus on July 6, 1991 , in Elmhurst . She survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters , Cynthia (and Sean) Truty of Island Lake, IL, and Jennifer (and Josh Warner) Gingrich of Portland, OR; 2 step-sons , John Bowbin and Bill (and Heidi) Bowbin; 1 step-daughter , Anna (and Steve) Kostas; 3 step-grandchildren ; and 1 sister , Nancy (and Robert) DuCharme of Chicago, IL. His parents preceded him in death. He earned is Ph.D. from the University of Iowa . He was a special education administrator at Mid-Valley Special Education Cooperative in St. Charles , IL . He previously served as a school psychologist for 25 years. Cremation was accorded and burial of ashes will be Noon Saturday, July 27, 2002 , at Princeville Cemetery , Princeville , IL .
