Obituary of Edith Sarah Gladin Dunlap - Edith Sarah Elwell Gladin, 92, of Colorado Springs , Colorado , formerly of Dunlap, died Saturday, November 9, 2002 , at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs , CO . Born September 1, 1910, in Vine Hill, Alabama, the daughter of Ernest L. and Helen Mabel Dickinson Elwell, she was preceded in death by husbands John H. Hollingsworth in Anniston, AL, Howard W. Lewis in Decatur, IL, and Quentin Z. Gladin in Colorado Springs, CO. Her son, Robert L. Hollingsworth also preceded her in death. Surviving are 1 daughter , Florence V. (and Richard) Erdmann of Buhl, ID; 3 sons , Charles W. (and Emma Lou) Hollingsworth of Buhl, ID, Alan L. (and Rosemary) Hollingsworth of Kingwood, TX, and William H. (and Cathe) Lewis of Alpine, TX; 1 daughter-in-law , Mildred Hollingsworth of Walnut, IL, 20 grandchildren ; and 44 great-grandchildren . Her parents and one son, Robert L. Hollingsworth preceded her in death. A service was held on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 , at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home in Colorado Springs , CO . Local services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Mary Kathryn Pearce will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery , Dunlap. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue , Peoria , Illinois 61603 .
