Obituary of Eugene Edward Herrmann Princeville - Eugene Edward Herrmann, 77, of 108 Ostrom Avenue for the past 15 years, formerly of Laura, died at 12:52 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2002 , at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room. Born June 26, 1925 , in Edelstein , IL , the son of Albert F. and Louise Siebenthal Herrmann, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Ringger on March 12, 1950 , in Gridley , IL . She survives, along with 1 son , Roger (and Darlene) Herrmann of Laura, IL ; 3 daughters , Kathleen (and William) Stoller of Wyoming, IL, Janice (and Alan) Martin of Edelstein, IL, and Jane (and Kyle) Scholl of Peoria, IL ; 11 grandchildren ; and 3 brothers , Noah (and Evelyn) Herrmann, Harry (and Bertha Jean) Herrmann, and Walter (and Betty Lou) Herrmann, all of Princeville. One sister, Margaret Herrmann, preceded him in death. He attended Timmons Grade School , Edelstein, and Princeville High School . He farmed in the Laura area for many years, and was a member of the Peoria County Farm Bureau, and a former member of the Princeville High School Board. He was a member of the Princeville Apostolic Christian Church, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 8, 2002. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4:00 p.m., and then from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2002, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, and also one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Tuesday.
