Obituary of Wesley E. Kehlenbach Edelstein - Wesley Eugene Kehlenbach, 87, of Arvada , Colorado , formerly of Edelstein, died at 10:10 am Wednesday, July 3, 2002 , at Covenant Village of Colorado, Westminster , Colorado , where he had been a patient. Born July 10, 1914 , in Sparland , IL , the son of Arthur J. and Lillian Edith Blackwell Kehlenbach, he married Virginia E. Laible on September 3, 1939 , in Henry , IL . She survives, along with 1 son, William W. (and Deanna) Kehlenbach of Arvada, Colorado; 2 daughters, Barbara (and John) Etka of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Beth Ann (and James) Lang of West Bloomfield, Michigan; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Frances Laible of Lacon, IL, and Lillian Miller of Carthage, IL. 4 brothers and 3 sisters preceded him in death. He first worked for Peoria County Service Company furnishing petroleum products to area farmers, then later became a Country Companies Insurance Agent in Peoria County , retiring in 1984. He was a member of the former Lawn Ridge Masonic Lodge, now Princeville Lodge #360, AF&AM, and Princeville United Methodist Church . Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, July 8, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Masonic Services at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery , Chillicothe , IL .
