Obituary of Peter C. Kelly Wee-ma-tuk * Peter C. Kelly, 90, of Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Wee-ma-tuk, Canton, IL, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002, at Desert Samaritan Hospital, Mesa, Arizona. Born December 31, 1911 , in Princeville , Illinois , the son of Peter C. and Anna C. Morrissey Kelly, Sr., he married Maxine Reimolds April 4, 1964 , in Roanoke , IL . She survives. Also surviving are 1 step-son , Herbert (and Sharon) Updyke of Chandler, AZ; 1 grandson , and 1 great-granddaughter . His parents, and one sister, Louise Kelly preceded him in death. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a car salesman for Brinkman Olds-Cadillac, in Pekin , IL , retiring in 1981. He was a 54-year member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Canton . He was of the Catholic Faith. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2002 , at St. Mary of the Woods Church , Princeville. Monsignor Richard Soseman will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 til 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, with recitation of Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens , Peoria .
