Obituary of Josephine J. Lawrence Princeville - Josephine J. Lawrence, 98, of Princeville, died 9:20 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2002 , at her residence. Born August 24, 1904 , in Jubilee Township , Peoria County , Illinois , the daughter of George John and Margaret Catherine Mosley Schneider, she married Clifford A. Lawrence June 25, 1925 , in Princeville. He died July 11, 1977 . Surviving are 4 daughters , Jeanne (and Robert) Wear of St. Paul, MN, Leona (and Ray) Ralph of Lakeside Park, KY, Betty (and Harold) Meisinger of Pekin, IL, and Charlotte (and Kenneth) Harlan of Princeville, IL; 2 sons , Clifford Lawrence of Kansas City , MO , and Jerry Lawrence of Gassville , AR; 6 grandchildren ; and 6 great-grandchildren . Two brothers, Ralph and Charles Schneider, and one grandchild preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Princeville, and Wyoming Chapter 8, Order of Eastern Star. Private family services will be held at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery , Princeville.
