Obituary of Russell E. Potter Williamsfield - Russell E. Potter, 58, of Williamsfield, died at 12:21 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2002 , in Kewanee Hospital emergency room. Born October 28, 1943 , near Edelstein , Illinois , the son of Forrest D. and Irene Wilson Potter, he married Luan Doubet March 17, 1990 , in Williamsfield. She survives. Also surviving are 1 son , John Russell Potter of Williamsfield, IL; 4 brothers , Rev. Marvin (and Margery) Potter of Newton, IA, Everett Potter and David (and Nancy) Potter both of Peoria, IL, and Floyd (and Mary Jo) Potter of Princeville, IL; 2 sisters , Hazel (and Lee) Fritz of Dunlap, IL, and Fern Ralph of Marquette Heights, IL. His parents and one brother, Byron E. Potter preceded him in death. He worked at Central Landscaping Company in Princeville. Prior to that he worked at Caterpillar. He was a 30-year member of the Laborers Local # 165 in Peoria . Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery , Dunlap.
