Obituary of Ada Maurine Pullen

Dunlap - Ada Maurine Pullen, 87, of rural Dunlap, died 12:28 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2002 , at Proctor Hospital , Peoria .

Born August 12, 1915 , in Princeville , Illinois , the daughter of James Wallace and Mary Margaret Jackson Glen, she married Clarence H. "Bud" Pullen on February 11, 1945 , in Wyoming , Illinois . He died November 10, 1991 , in Chillicothe , IL .

Surviving is 1 brother , W.M. "Buck" Glen (and Ethel "A" {note - she is known by the letter "A"}) of Wyoming , IL; and several nieces and nephews . Her parents, one brother, Everett Glen, and one sister, Bessie Angelcyk preceded her in death.

She and her husband farmed in rural Dunlap for many years. She worked for the Triple A office in Toulon in the 1940's. She then worked as an executive secretary for R.G. LeTourneau Company, later WABCO in Peoria . She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Wyoming.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery , Wyoming .
