Obituary of Robert H. Schaad Princeville - Robert H. Schaad, 80, of LaFayette , formerly of Princeville, died at 5:20 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2002, at Kewanee Hospital , Kewanee. Born June 26, 1922, in Princeville, Illinois, the son of John and Ethel Martin Schaad, he married Beverly Rabe. He later married Pauline Sartin on February 14, 1976, in Peoria . She died September 28, 1995, in Peoria . Surviving are 2 daughters, Joyce Swank of Pueblo, CO, and Joelee Schaad of Racine, WI; 2 brothers, Edwin Schaad of Princeville, and Ralph Schaad of Pekin, IL; 3 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren; 4 step-sons, Ronald (and Carol) Sartin and Steven (and Susan) Sartin both of Yates City, IL, David Sartin of Princeville, IL, and Greg (and Shari) Sartin of Chillicothe, IL; 1 step-daughter, Debbie Workman of Princeville, IL; and a special friend, Barb Shambaugh of LaFayette, IL, with whom he made his home. His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. He was a World War II Marine Veteran and was a lifetime member of the Princeville Masonic Lodge #360 AF&AM, where he was Past Worshipful Master. He worked in maintenance at Home Comfort in Princeville and later at L.R. Nelson in Princeville, until retiring. He also farmed in the Princeville area. Masonic services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery .
