Obituary of Burton Streitmatter Brimfield - Burton F. Streitmatter, 83, of Brimfield, died at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2002 , at his residence. Born August 8, 1918 , in Valley Township , Stark County , Illinois , the son of William E. and Frieda Feucht Streitmatter, he married Martha Klumpp March 2, 1941 , in Princeville. She survives. Also surviving are 2 sons , Duane (and Barb) Streitmatter of Peoria, IL, and Stevan (and Mary Lynn) Streitmatter of Brimfield, IL; 3 daughters , Teresa (and Dale) Martin of Brimfield , IL , Rose (and Allan) Herrmann and Sonia (and Gale) Stoller both of Princeville , IL ; 16 grandchildren ; 7 great-grandchildren ; and 1 brother , Harold Streitmatter of Princeville , IL . His parents and one infant son preceded him in death. He farmed in rural Brimfield for 54 years. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2002 , at Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 til 4 p.m. and 6 til 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, and one hour prior to funeral services on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery , Princeville. Memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian Skylines, Inc., 7023 NE Skyline Drive , Peoria , IL 61614 .
