Obituary of Harold W. Streitmatter Princeville - Harold W. Streitmatter, 95, of Princeville, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2002 , at his residence. Born January 26, 1907 , in Speer , Illinois , the son of William E. and Frieda Feucht Streitmatter, he married Anna L. Elsasser January 27, 1935 , in Princeville. She died June 18, 1990 , in Peoria . Also preceding him in death was 1 brother, Burton Streitmatter. Surviving are 5 sons , Norman (and Joyce) Streitmatter of Elmwood , IL , Floran (and Twylla) Streitmatter of Brimfield , IL , Richard (and Mary) Streitmatter of Morton , IL , William (and Diane) Streitmatter of Princeville , IL , and Cleon (and Linda) Streitmatter of Peoria, IL; 2 daughters , Arlene (and Robert) Scholl and Mary Jane Streitmatter both of Princeville , IL ; 21 grandchildren ; 26 great-grandchildren . He served on the board of trustees of the Apostolic Christian Home , Eureka , IL, for 11 years, initially serving on the building committee. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville, where he served on the building committee when the present church was built in 1969. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday, November 25, 2002 , at Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home and also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Princeville Ambulance Service, Apostolic Christian Skylines, Inc, Peoria , or Apostolic Christian Home , Eureka , IL.
