Obituary of Luella M. Streitmatter Edelstein - Luella M. Streitmatter, 85, of 4222 W. Route 90, died at 11:55 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2002 , at her residence. Born January 22, 1917 , near Hanna City, Illinois, the daughter of Reent and Ida Marie Reis Janssen, she married Earl H. Streitmatter on April 3, 1948 , in Glasford , IL . He died July 29, 1989 , in rural Princeville. Also proceeding in death were 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving is 1 son , Floyd (and Deborah) Streitmatter of rural Princeville; 2 grandchildren , Scott and Paula Streitmatter; 2 sisters , Edna Nannen of Hanna City, IL, and Mildred Rosenbohm of Glasford, IL; and 1 brother , John Janssen of Glasford, IL. She was a member of Peoria County Farm Bureau and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Chillicothe , IL , where services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2002 . Rev. Steven Mall will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, and also 30 minutes prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Streitmatter Cemetery , rural Princeville. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or St. Jude's Midwest Affiliate, Peoria .
