Corrected Obituary of Lawrence L. Wilson

Peoria - Lawrence L. Wilson, 76, of White Bluff, TN, formerly of Peoria and Aurora, died 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, at his residence.

Born June 23, 1926 , in Speer , Illinois , the son of James Dewey and Elsie Mae Lawrence Wilson, he married Jacquline Delores Ceas on October 13, 1951 . She died April 17, 1997 , in Aurora , IL .

Surviving are 5 sons , Larry (and Dana) Wilson of Madison, TN, Richard (and Eileen) Wilson of Somonauk, IL, David Wilson and Randy Wilson both of Aurora, IL, and Jeff Wilson of White Bluff, TN; 2 daughters , Brenda (and Carl) Theobald of Princeville, IL, and Kimberly (and Tom) Fromherz of Sandwich, IL; 1 sister , Henrietta Rollins of Wyoming, IL; 15 grandchildren ; and 4 great-grandchildren . His parents and one brother, Kenneth Eugene Wilson preceded him in death.

He first worked on the section gang for the Rock Island Railroad, he later worked for Limestone Township in Peoria County , IL , in road maintenance. He then worked as a truck driver for 10 years for Moser Trucking in Montgomery , IL . He last worked as a foreman for 15 years at Lakone Plastics in Montgomery , IL , retiring in 1989.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2002 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Visitation will be two hours prior to funeral service. Rev. Joel G. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery , Princeville.
