Obituary of Helen P. Begner

Dunlap - Helen P. Begner, 86, a resident of Apostolic Christian Skylines, Inc, Peoria , since July 8, 2002 , formerly of Dunlap, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003 , at Apostolic Christian Skylines.

Born March 9, 1917 , in Princeville, the daughter of Lyle and Sarah Edna Burns Bouton, she married Ralph Henry Begner on November 23, 1937 , in Davenport , IA. He died December 31, 1995 , in Peoria . Also preceding her in death was 1 daughter, Eleanor Meehan in 1995, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and 3 grandchildren.

Surviving are 6 sons, Lyle W. (and Barbara) of Princeville, Robert L. (and Susan) of Peoria, Jack E. (and Carol) of Princeville, Terry R. and Karl R. (and Deborah) both of Dunlap, and Nyle K. (and DeAnna) of Elmwood, 1 daughter, Imogene R. (and Harold) Tanner of Speer, IL, 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Donald (and Geneva) Bouton of Pekin, and Daryl (and Minnie) Bouton of Chillicothe , IL , and 1 sister, Wilma Fairhurst of Bartonville.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Princeville.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2003 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens , Peoria .
