Obituary of Rodney L. "Zeke" Bleichner East Peoria - Rodney L. "Zeke" Bleichner, 54, of East Peoria , formerly of Princeville and Oak Run, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2003 , in the Emergency Room at Kewanee Hospital , Kewanee. Born May 30, 1949 , in Peoria , Illinois , the son of John J. and Laura E. Tuckey Bleichner, he married Barbara K. Burton on March 10, 1973 , in Chillicothe , Illinois. She survives. Also surviving are his mother of Chillicothe , IL ; 1 son , Kevin L. (and Amanda) Bleichner of Creve Coeur, IL; 1 daughter , Teresa L. Gardner of Laura , IL ; 2 granddaughters ; 1 grandson ; 1 sister , Rebecca (and Jerry) Hahn of Dunlap , IL ; and several nieces and nephews . His father preceded him in death. He was a United States Army Veteran. He worked as night custodian for Elmwood Grade School , Elmwood , Illinois . He previously worked as a custodian for Princeville School District #326 and also as a laborer for ADM in Peoria . He was a past member of the Alta Masonic Lodge #748 AF&AM and was of the Methodist faith. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2003 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, and also ½ hour prior to funeral services on Wednesday.
