Obituary of Genevieve E. Clark Brimfield - Genevieve E. Clark, 88, of Brimfield, died at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, February 16, 2003 , at her home. Born September 17, 1914 , in Brimfield, the daughter of Harry W. and Dora Davis Maher, she married John M. Clark on October 25, 1933 , in Brimfield. He died April 23, 1979 , in Peoria . 2 brothers, 1 sister, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter also preceded her in death. Surviving are 5 daughters , Donna (and Leo) Rahn, Jeanne (and Kenneth) Challacombe, Judith Steimle, Dora (and Greg) Struck, and Susanna Clark, all of Brimfield; 1 son , David (and Linda) Clark of Washington, IL; 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 1 great great step granddaughter, and 1 sister , Catherine (and Murray) Miller of Brimfield. She was a 4-H Leader in Brimfield for many years, a member of Peoria County Home Extension, Royal Neighbors, and a Charter Member of the Brimfield Historical Society, serving as Treasurer. She was a life-long member of St. Joseph 's Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2003 , at St. Joseph 's Catholic Church. Rev. Lawrence Morrissey will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2003 , at the church, with rosary at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , rural Brimfield. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or to the Brimfield Historical Society. Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, is in charge of arrangements.
