Obituary of Rueben F. Feucht

Princeville - Rueben F. Feucht, 87, of Princeville, died 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003 , at Proctor Hospital , Peoria .

Born October 5, 1915 , in Alvord , Iowa , the son of William and Lydia Grimm Feucht, he married Nathalie M. Menold on March 3, 1940 , in Princeville , Illinois . She died January 11, 1996 , in Peoria .

Surviving are 1 daughter , Elaine M. Paris of Agoura Hills , CA ; 2 sons , Roger A. (and Lynn) Feucht and Jordan D. (and Kathy) Feucht both of Princeville , IL; 7 grandchildren ; 6 great-grandchildren ; 2 brothers , Chris (and JoAnn) Feucht and Walter Feucht both of Peoria, IL; 3 sisters Ruth Feucht and Lyola (and Jim) Ringger both of Eureka, IL, and Mildred Endress of Washington, IL; and 1 brother-in-law , Ray Klumpp of Bradford, IL. His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.

He farmed in the Speer area his entire lifetime, retiring in 1972, and was a member of the Farm Bureau. After retiring he continued to help farm til the Spring of 2002, and he also was made Honorary Employee at Snyder's Café in Princeville, where he made and served coffee to customers. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2003 , at Apostolic Christian Church, Princeville. Ministers of the Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, with further visitation from 9:00 a.m. til 9:45 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2003 , at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery , Princeville.
