Obituary of Catherine J. Fitch Yates City - Catherine J. Fitch, 51, of 307 S. Kellogg Street , since 1976, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2003 , at her residence. Born July 23, 1951 , in Peoria , Illinois , the daughter of Charles and Bertha Cheney Loser, she married Michael R. Fitch on July 26, 1970 , in Peoria . He survives. Also surviving is her mother of Peoria, IL; 1 son , John M. Fitch of Yates City, IL; 1 daughter , Shellie (and Crystal) Fitch of Peoria, IL; 2 grandsons ; 3 brothers , Virgil (and Nadine) Loser of Jacks Creek, TN, Ron (and June) Loser of Dunlap, IL, and Jack (and Sue) Loser of Lacon, IL; and 2 sisters , Sherry (and J.R.) Reeder and Diane (and Kenny) Reeder both of Dunlap , IL . Her father preceded her in death. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church , Dunlap, where funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2003 . Rev. Mary Kathryn Pearce will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to funeral at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery , Dunlap.
