Obituary of Elsie L. Keller Princeville - Elsie L. Keller, 90, a long-time resident of Princeville, died at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2003 , at Manor Care in Peoria , where she has been a resident since October 1, 2002 . Born August 28, 1913 , in Princeville, the daughter of Frank and Edith Barrett Turner, she married Karl K. Keller on September 4, 1948 , in Rock Island , Illinois . He died November 14, 1998 , in Peoria . Surviving are 1 daughter, Charlotte (and Howard) Yates of Wyoming, IL; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and 1 sister, Helen Rink of Peoria , IL . 1 son, Donald Keller, 1 grandson, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters preceded her in death. She worked as a clerk for many years for Springer's Variety Store, later Villa Variety, in Princeville. She then was a monitor for Princeville Baptist Academy . She was a member of the Historical Association of Princeville and a charter member of Princeville Baptist Church . Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003 , at Princeville Baptist Church . Pastors Tedd Butler & Lee Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2003 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
