Obituary of Garnet F. Schneider Princeville - Garnet F. Schneider, 98, a resident of Bel-Wood Nursing Home, Peoria , for several years, formerly of Princeville, Peoria , and Dunlap, died at 11:10 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2003 , at Bel-Wood Nursing Home. Born December 26, 1904 , in Dixon , IL , the daughter of Fred and Clarissa Baightel Yoder, she married Ralph Schneider on October 21, 1925 . He preceded her in death in 1954. Also preceding her in death was 1 son, Donald, 1 sister, and 5 brothers. Surviving are 5 grandchildren , 4 great-grandchildren , and 5 great-great grandchildren , and 1 sister , Helen Blackledge of Galesburg , IL . She was a member of Arcadia Avenue Presbyterian Church, Peoria . Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Rev. Kenn Shedenhelm will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens , Peoria . Memorial contributions may be made to Bel-Wood Nursing Home.
