Obituary of Emma D. Stahl Edelstein - Emma D. Stahl, 87, of rural Edelstein, died at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2003 , at Methodist Medical Center , Peoria . Born February 24, 1916 , in Peoria County , the daughter of Karl and Wilhelmina Rapp Klumpp, she married Aaron Stahl on April 2, 1939 , in Peoria . He died April 26, 1994 , in Peoria . Also preceding her in death was an infant son, Warren Ray Stahl, and an infant brother. Surviving is 1 son, William K. (and Nancy) Stahl of rural Dunlap, 1 daughter, Sharon K. (and Ed) Dunbar of rural Decatur, 4 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Martha Streitmatter of Brimfield, Lucy (and Bruce) Schmidgall of Minier, IL, and Esther (and Nathan) Martin of Princeville, and 1 brother, Raymond Klumpp of Bradford , IL . She was a cook at Edelstein Grade School for several years. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church , Peoria , where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2004 . Pastors John Autio and Jill Flynn will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
