Obituary of Mary K. Camp

Monica - Mary K. Camp, 94, of Monica, died 6:35 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2004 , at Kewanee Hospital , Kewanee.

Born May 4, 1910 , in Indiana, the daughter of Joseph and Minnie Berta, she married Raymond O. Camp on April 2, 1927 , in Princeville. He died in 1967, in Peoria .

Surviving is 1 son, Perry R. (and Della) Camp, Sr. of Bradford, IL; 5 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.

She first worked at Princeville Canning Company, and then later she worked as an assembler/inspector for LR Nelson Company in Princeville before retiring. She was a member of the Monica United Methodist Church for over 70 years, and a member of the Happy Hour Club in Monica.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Marc Brown will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery , Princeville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
