Obituary of Stella E. Carlin Peoria - Stella E. Carlin, 95, formerly of 707 N.E. Madison , died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2004 , at Bel-Wood Nursing Home. Born October 6, 1908 , in rural Dunlap, the daughter of Flavious and Margaret Harrison Barrett, she married Paul S. Reinhold on December 24, 1929 , in Peoria . She later married John F. Carlin on April 10, 1951 . He died February 11, 1960 . 1 son, Delbert E. Reinhold, 5 brothers and seven sisters, also preceded her in death. Surviving is 1 son, Ivan P. Reinhold of Peoria Heights , IL , 1 daughter, Betty (and Jack) Rhodes of Peoria, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a member of Friendship House, R.S.V.P., Womens' League of the Salvation Army, and a member of the former First Missionary Baptist Church of Peoria. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2004 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Pastor Shawn Craigmiles will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to the Bel-Wood Nursing Home Residents' Fund.
