Obituary of Estelle I. Donsbach

Princeville - Estelle I. Donsbach, 85, a patient of the Toulon Health Care Center, Toulon , formerly of Princeville, died at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004 , at Kewanee Hospital Emergency Department.

Born June 7, 1918 , in Sigel , IL , the daughter of Bernard Henry and Anna Will Hoene, she married Carl John " Cork " Donsbach on January 26, 1946 , in Sigel. He survives, along with 4 sons, Kenneth B. (and Diana) of Bloomington, IL, Jerry W. of Princeville, IL, Donald L. (and Patti) of Normal, IL, and Marvin R. (and Linda) of Princeville; 2 daughters, Diann (and Rick) Bush, and Cheryl O'Neill, both of Wyoming, IL; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard Hoene of Teutopolis, IL, and Leonard Hoene of Sigel, IL; and 2 sisters, Mary Ordner of Teutopolis, IL, and Ida Hille of Effingham, IL; She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, and 1 great-grandson.

During WWII, she worked for Pabst Brewery in Peoria . She was a member of the Princeville American Legion Auxiliary and St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, and its Altar and Rosary society.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004 , at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Monsignor Richard Soseman will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, with recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery .
