Obituary of Douglas M. Ehnle

Elmwood - Douglas M. Ehnle, 38, of rural Elmwood, died 12:10 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2004 , in St. Germain , Wisconsin , as a result of a snowmobile accident.

Born March 12, 1965 , in Peoria , Illinois , the son of Don and Nellie Morrissey Ehnle, he married Jarmila Snydr-Michal on March 16, 1991 , in Peoria . She survives.

Also surviving are 2 daugthers, Kelsey Ehnle and Taylor Ehnle both at home; parents of Dunlap, IL; 1 sister, Suzette (and Mark) Swanson of Dunlap, IL; 2 brothers, Tony (and Laura) Ehnle of Edelstein, IL, and Steve (and Tammy) Ehnle of Kickapoo, IL; and several aunts and uncles. His grandparents, Chris & Lydia Ehnle and Bill & Bertha Morrissey preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Dunlap High School and was owner/operator of Doug Ehnle Construction.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2004 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Monsignor Richard Soseman will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2004 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home.

Cremation to follow services. Burial will be in St. Dominic Cemetery, Wyoming, IL, at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for his children through State Bank of Speer, Speer , Illinois .
