Obituary of Jennie M. Meservey Princeville - Jennie M. Meservey, 79, of Princeville, died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 , at her residence. Born December 3, 1924 , in Edelstein , Illinois , the daughter of Karl and Lena Siegle Stichling, she married Donald G. Meservey on September 13, 1947 , in Iowa . He died August 11, 1992 , in Peoria , IL . Surviving are 1 son, Alan (and Teresa) Meservey of Princeville, IL; 1 daughter, Lorraine (and Dane) Bergquist of Surprise, AZ; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Helen Kraft of Princeville , IL , Bernice (and Andrew) Streitmatter of Edelstein , IL , and Carolyn Snyder of Newport News , VA. Her parents, seven brothers, one sister, six half-brothers, and three half-sisters preceded her in death. She was a caregiver for several people in the Princeville area for many years. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2004 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Prosper Tournear will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens , Peoria . Memorial contributions may be made to Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service or Akron/Princeville Fire Department.
