Obituary of Bret A. Stichling Monica - Bret A. Stichling, 44, of Monica died at 1:15 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2004 , at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinic, Iowa City, IA. Born January 25, 1960 , in Peoria , Illinois , the son of Theodore Harry and Sandra Granko Stichling. Surviving are his mother, Sandra Stichling of Princeville , IL ; 1 brother, Brian W. Stichling of Princeville , IL ; and 5 step-children. His father and grandparents preceded him in death. He worked for Long Rock Trucking Company, Princeville. He was a member of the Peoria County Farm Bureau, and he attended Monica United Methodist Church . Private family graveside services were held at Princeville Cemetery . A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron/Princeville Fire Department, Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service, or Monica United Methodist Church .
