Born February 22, 1931, in Hume, IL, the daughter of Loren M. and Elizabeth Orsborn Biddle, she married Charles L. Dravis on November 7, 1954, in Newman, IL.
He survives, along with 1 daughter, Mary Lou (and Joseph) Hott of Princeville, IL; and 2 grandchildren, Alan and Rachel Hott. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graduate of Newman High School, Newman, IL, she attended Eastern Illinois University, Charleston. She was a bookkeeper for Gorham's Inc. in Springfield for 24 years, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 260, Newman, IL, and of First Christian Church, Springfield, where she served as a Deacon and sang in the choir. She was also an avid league bowler in the Springfield area.
Funeral services will be at Noon Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Staab Funeral Home, Springfield. Rev. Rebecca Sundquist will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at the funeral home in Springfield. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
