Obituary of Larry R. Fry Princeville - Larry R. Fry, 52, of rural Princeville, died at 9:15 p.m. , Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at his residence. Born December 1, 1952, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Jack D. and Wilma J. Pierson Fry. Surviving are his parents of Dunlap, IL ; 1 son, Bret W. Fry of Champaign, IL; 1 daughter, Amy J. Fry of Tuscola, IL; 1 grandson, Donovan Lee; and 1 brother, James A. (and Diana) Fry of rural Princeville, IL. He served in the United States Army Reserves 724 th Transportation Company from November 14, 1971 until September 20, 1974. He farmed in rural Dunlap and Princeville for many years. He also worked seasonally at Peoria County Farm Service and the Princeville Canning Company. He was a member of the Peoria County Farm Bureau and Prospect United Methodist Church, Dunlap. Cremation has been accorded. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to memorial service at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will be at Prospect Cemetery, Dunlap. Memorial contributions may be made to Dunlap Fire & Rescue.
