Obituary of Carol J. Harms
Princeville - Carol J. Harms, 57, of Princeville, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2005, at her residence. Born December 22, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Dewey H. and Lavina Streitmatter Sloan. Surviving are 1 son, Dale S. Harms of Princeville, IL; 1 half-brother, Armond (and Joyce) Sloan of Princeville, IL; 1 half-sister, Juanita Eberle of Denver, CO; 2 aunts, Grace Streitmatter of Princeville, IL, and Alvina Streitmatter of Peoria, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. She worked for the Department of Children & Family Services in Peoria, retiring in 2002. She was a driver and EMT for the Akron/Princeville Ambulance for several years. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery, Princeville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service. |
