Obituary of David J. Hoehne

Princeville – David J. Hoehne, 45, of Princeville, died at 5:32 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Born April 16, 1960, in Peoria, the son of John and Mary Heinz Hoehne, he married Carrie A. Eastburg on April 26, 1997, in Princeville. She survives, along with 1 son, Wesley Hoehne of Princeville; both parents of Germantown Hills, IL; maternal grandmother, Amelia Heinz of Metamora, IL; 3 sisters, including his twin, Susan (and Tim) Koller of Peoria, Julie (and John) Jacobs of Crystal Lake, IL, and Cindy (and John) McLean of Boerne, TX; 1 brother, Dan (and Diana) Hoehne of Germantown Hills, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Richwoods High School, Peoria, he served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Dave was a journeyman electrician who designed and installed commercial phone systems for Heart Electronics, Peoria, until becoming disabled in 2001. He was a member of IBEW Local #34.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2005, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Rev. Harry Losey will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron-Princeville Ambulance Service, or to the Akron-Princeville Fire & Rescue Department.
