Obituary of Louise Ingle

Princeville - Bertha Louise Ingle, 85, of Princeville, died at 10:11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

Born north of Monica, Illinois, on June 26, 1920, the daughter of Ray Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Camp DeBord, she married H. Lyle Ingle on December 25, 1946, in Toulon. He died on January 12, 2004, in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, William Clark, and 1 sister, Amy Knowles.

Surviving are 3 sons, Rob (and Danielle) Ingle, of Princeville, Randy (and Diane) Ingle of rural Princeville, and Harold “Skip” (and Nancy) Clark of Bartonville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Henry (and Maxine) DeBord of Princeville, and Jim (and Joan) DeBord of rural Princeville; and several nieces and nephews.

She first worked for Caterpillar prior to WWII. She later was a secretary for CFS (Consolidated Fertilizer Service) in Monica for several years. She then was a bus driver for Princeville Unit School District # 326 for 30 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Monica United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Akron-Princeville Ambulance Service, or to her church.
