Obituary of Louis H. Klein II

Laura - Louis H. Klein II, 53, of rural Laura, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2005 , at OSF St. Francis Medical Center , Peoria .

Born July 3, 1951 , in Peoria , Illinois , the son of Thomas Ivan and Bonnie Jean Fouts Klein.

Surviving are his parents of Manito, IL; 1 daughter, Mindy Lou Klein of Kewanee, IL; 1 son, Joseph (and Julie) Klein of Sheffield, IL; 1 brother, Timothy (and Audrey) Klein of rural Laura, IL; 1 sister, Cheryl (and Tom) Buttrum of Florida; 7 grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a 1969 Toulon High School graduate. He worked for Caterpillar at the Mossville Plant in assembly, retiring in 1999. He served in the US Army Reserves in the 1970's.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2005 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. Burial will be in Galva Cemetery , Galva.
