Born August 12, 1922, in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Dean T. and Anna Marie Verderber Logan, she married John Koller, Sr. on May 11, 1939, in Lincoln, IL. He died April 26, 1997, in Peoria. Surviving are 1 daughter, Donna (and Steve) Sutherland of Spring Bay, IL; 4 sons, John (and Nancy) Koller of Peoria, IL, Everett “Gene” Koller of Princeville, IL, Chuck (and Kathy) Koller of Brimfield, IL, and Jim Koller of Princeville, IL; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 1 brother, Paul (and Ruthetta) Logan of Lincoln, IL; and 1 sister, Norma Jean Laymon of Lincoln, IL. Her parents, one daughter, Rose M. Prouty, seven sisters, and five brothers preceded her in death.
She was a cook for the Princeville School District # 326 for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Princeville, and its Altar & Rosary Society.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Princeville. Monsignor Richard Soseman will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2005, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville, with recitation of Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery, Princeville.
