Obituary of Patrick D. McMahill Chillicothe - Patrick D. McMahill, 56, of Chillicothe , died at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2005 , at his residence. Born February 26, 1948 , in Peoria , Illinois , the son of Delbert R. and Veronica Low McMahill, he married Linda J. Streitmatter on July 15, 1967 , in Speer , IL . She survives. Also surviving is 1 daughter, Shannon (and Corey) Coats of Chillicothe, IL; 3 granddaughters; 1 brother, Thomas (and Sheila) McMahill of Bradford, IL; and 1 sister, Vonnie Peabody of Gainesville , FL. His parents and one sister preceded him in death. He was a planning engineer in the Mossville planning department at Caterpillar Inc. for 36 years, retiring April 1, 2002 . He was a member of the Wyoming Masonic Lodge #479 AF&AM, in Wyoming , IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2005 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville. Rev. Mary Kathryn Pearce will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005 , at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home and one hour prior to funeral service on Saturday.
