Obituary of Johnny R. Goulden

Tremont – Johnny R. Goulden, 16, of Tremont, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006, the result of a single car accident east of Tremont.

He was born June 14, 1989, in Charleston, SC, the son of Karen J. Bzdyk Goulden.

Surviving is his mother of Tremont; two sisters, Ashley M. Goulden & Jennifer L. Goulden, both of Tremont; grandparents John & Margaret Goulden of Edwards and Virginia Bzdyk of Raleigh, NC; great-grandmother Regina Gallienne of Raleigh, NC; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandfather.

Johnny was a junior at Tremont High School. He also worked part-time with his grandfather at ENTEC Services, Bartonville. For the past four years he worked backstage on the running crew for Eastlight Theater productions.

Johnny was a member of Glen Oak Christian Church where he played in the Bell Choir, sang in the Chancel Choir, taught Vacation Bible School, played bass guitar in the Praise Band, served as a deacon, and was active in CYF.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Glen Oak Christian Church, 1115 E Republic Ave, Peoria. Rev. Randy Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at Davis Mortuary, Tremont.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Glen Oak Christian Church, the Tremont Park District, or to the Tremont Pool Fund.
