Obituary of Helen M. McDonough
Brimfield – Helen M. McDonough, 90, of Brimfield, died at 7:00 a.m. Thursday,
January 12, 2006, at her residence.
She was born February 20, 1915, in Brimfield, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas G. and Olive A. Cluskey McDonough.
Surviving are 3 sisters, Lucille McDonough and Ramona (and Herman) Heinz both of Brimfield, IL, and Mildred (and Jack) Lapsley of Elmwood, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, three brothers, and one sister preceded her in death.
She first worked the bottling line at Pabst Brewery in Peoria Heights, and later for Hiram Walker’s Distillery. She most recently worked for Elm Haven in Elmwood and for Alcoa in Princeville. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society.
The Funeral Mass for Helen McDonough will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Brimfield. Father Lawrence P. Morrissey will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Brimfield.
