Obituary of Lucille C. McDonough
Brimfield – Lucille C. McDonough, 87, of Brimfield, died at 5:55 p.m. Sunday,
October 8, 2006, at Proctor Hospital, Peoria, where she had been a patient since October 5th.
She was born November 20, 1918, in Brimfield, the daughter of Thomas G. and Olive A. Cluskey McDonough.
Surviving are two sisters, Ramona J. (and Herman) Heinz of Brimfield, and Mildred J. (and Jack) Lapsley of Elmwood; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, three brothers, Thomas E., Martin M., and John F., and two sisters, Margaret W. McDonough and Helen M. McDonough, preceded her in death.
Lucille graduated from Brimfield Grade School and was a 1937 graduate of Brimfield High School. After graduating, she did housework, worked as a waitress, a cashier, and clerked in a pharmacy in Peoria before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Lawrence P. Morrissey will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Brimfield.
