Obituary of Kenneth E. Wilson

Princeville – Kenneth E. Wilson, 86, a resident of Heritage Manor, Chillicothe, formerly of Princeville, died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2006, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

Born July 10, 1920, in Speer, Illinois, the son of Estes P. and Golda B. Ladd Wilson.

Surviving is one brother-in-law, Raymond Pettigrew; two nephews; and his caregiver, Kimberly (and Charles) Keithley of Chillicothe, IL.  His parents and one sister preceded him in death.

He worked as a mechanic for Potter Implement Company, Edelstein, IL, and then he went to work for Colgan Company, John Deere Dealer, Wyoming, IL. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Princeville American Legion Post # 248.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Blue Ridge Cemetery, Chillicothe, IL.  Rev. Harry Losey will officiate.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.
