Obituary of Betty R. Donsbach

Princeville – Betty R. Donsbach, 82, of Princeville, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2007, at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe.

Born November 8, 1924, in Wady Petra, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Edith Shafer Klepfer, she married Alfred Donsbach on July 2, 1945, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Peoria.  He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Connie (and Larry) Shane of Wyoming, IL; one son, Brian (and Ellen) Donsbach of Edelstein, IL; daughter-in-law, Bobbe Donsbach of Lewistown, MT; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four sisters.  Her parents, one son, Mike Donsbach, three great-grandsons, and one brother preceded her in death.

She was a 1942 graduate of Wyoming High School.  She worked at Central Illinois Light Company until her marriage.  She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Princeville, and its Altar & Rosary Society.

Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.  Monsignor Richard Soseman will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6 to 7: 30 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2007, at St. Mary of the Woods Parish Hall, Princeville, with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery, Princeville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Akron/Princeville Ambulance Service or Methodist Medical Center Hospice Services.
