Obituary of Billie E. Kitterman

Elmwood – Billie E. Kitterman, 86, of Elmwood, formerly of Princeville,  died at 9:15 am, Monday, December 31, 2007, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home, Peoria.

Billie was born on January 7, 1921, in Bradford, Illinois, the son of Cecil and Erma Taylor Kitterman, he married Virginia C. Erikson on February 29, 1940, in Kahoka, MO.  She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jack (and DeeDee) Kitterman of Winters, CA and Billie C. (and Carol) Kitterman of Peoria, IL; one daughter, Erma (and John) Brown of Vancouver, WA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen DeCrane of Galva, IL and Lucille Kitterman of Canada; and one half-brother Kenneth Kitterman of Henry, IL.  His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Billie retired from Caterpillar where he worked in shipping and receiving. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a member of the Princeville Lodge #360 AF&AM. 

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Princeville where services will be 11:00 am Friday, January 4, 2008.  Rev. Harry Losey will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
