Obituary of Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Williams Loveless

Princeville – Elizabeth Jean “Betty” Williams Loveless, 81, of Chatsworth, CA, died at 12:35 pm Sunday, March 18, 2007, West Hills Hospital, West Hills, CA.

Born April 30, 1925, in Princeville, the daughter of George Taylor and Ella May Tracy Williams, she married Richard M. Loveless on April 21, 1979, in Joplin, MO.  He survives, along with three stepchildren, and one brother, Leroy (and Reva) Williams, of Princeville.

A 1943 graduate of Princeville High School, she also graduated from the Methodist School of Nursing, Peoria, and received her BS degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

She worked as a nurse for over 30 years in Springfield, IL, Columbia, MO, Chicago, Kansas City, MO, and retiring in 1979, in Joplin, MO, when she moved to Chatsworth, CA.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Granada Hills, CA, where a memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at 3:30 pm.  A graveside service will be held in Princeville Cemetery at a later date.
