Obituary of Donald R. Streitmatter

Wyoming – Donald R. Streitmatter, 43, of rural Wyoming, died 7:48 am Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville, Martinsville, Virginia.

Donald was born January 19, 1964, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Dale N. and Mary Jane Belford Streitmatter.

Surviving is his mother of rural Wyoming; one brother, Ron (and Kellie) Streitmatter of Dunlap; two nephews; and three nieces.  His father preceded him in death.

After graduating from Wyoming High School, he graduated from Wichita Automotive Electronics Institute, Wichita, KS.  He then owned & operated an automotive body shop business on the family farm for 2 years.  He also farmed and attended Stark Congregational Church, Stark, Illinois.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home, Princeville.  Rev. Dave Koehler will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, August 27, 2007, at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
