Obituary of Loretta F. Hayward Peoria – Loretta F. Hayward, 93, of Peoria, died at 7:03 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at OSF Saint Clare Home, Peoria Heights. Loretta was born June 28, 1914, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Leo and Matilda Ritschel Noirot, she married Ralph Hayward on September 7, 1947, in Peoria. He died April 8, 1967, in Peoria. Surviving are two sons, Daniel (and Peg) Hayward of Chillicothe, and David (and Rose) Hayward of London Mills; three daughters, Diane DeLong of Peoria Heights, Donna VanBruwaene of Chillicothe, and Darlene (and Glenn) Kissinger of Chillicothe; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her parents, one son, Douglas Hayward, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death. Loretta worked at Sears as a locksmith. She was a past member of the Peoria Harmonettes and a past member of the high choir at Sacred Heart Church, Peoria. Loretta was of the catholic faith. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave, Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home. Cremation will be accorded following the services and burial of ashes will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to American Leukemia Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice in Loretta’s memory.
